Tough act to follow.  I'm of mixed feelings on this.  The original was so freaking difficult a film to make (if you have the collector's edition you know why) and so original at the time that making a sequel was technically difficult.  Technical side is easy now, but I worry about them sporking the story up.

Oh god it'll be an abomination of CG sporkery... I just know it, and forget anything that made the original Tron what it was...

I can already see it as an explosion of craptastic CG effects and it'll be like an action movie where there's a fight every 5 minutes... and of course it'll have at least one annoying "matrix bullet dodge" scene...

Awesome CG light cycle chase scene(s) with awesome slow motion effects and a nifty explosion at the end! Can't wait!

Um... you guys do realize that Tron was kind of the movie that started CG, right?

Yes but that was back before CG was over-used, it's kinda like mixing a screwdriver, you can't have too much of either  part or you get shit...

Yeah, bullet-time is an inevitability. I was a big fan of the original, but it's been ripped off and parodied to death. I think a sequel is a bit redundant now.
