New 2011-08-27
Map status: Alpha

Alpha is available check above link.

To load the map extract the .pk3 inside the .zip file into /baseq3 directory
Load up Generations bring down the console and type: /map req1dm2_a7

Or load it from a batch(.bat) file by doing: quake3.exe +set sv_pure 0 +set fs_game generations +map req1dm2_a7 +set com_hunkmegs 128

There will be plenty of bugs and broken functions, misaligned textures and areas not fully complete it's still very much WIP.
And bots are really really stupid atm since there are no (few) clips in the map so far.

What i want is: You to run around the map and report back if it feels right? something really odd? Ideas for improvments?

DM2 is far from being my favorite of the Q1 maps (in fact, I could probably be quoted as saying I hate it if you look hard enough).

But.. that looks amazing! LOVE lava lighting! Slipgate - Love
And heck, I used to not like DM5 either (go figure).. but it plays well in Gen.

Oh, well I use open arena and there's not much lava, but there's bloom which makes it glow,kinda cool. Slipgate - Smile

Did quite alot of work on this map during the evenings, lightmap is starting to shape up and added abit more detail to the map, all the functions on the map is working thought timing on doors/traps is abit off.

Uploaded some more images if i get the time i might upload an early beta of the map and let you ppls run it!
