According to the old backstory that LeeMon wrote, Mynx was an assassin sent to steal the same secret formula developed by Dr. Schabbs that BJ was after that would have granted near immortality to Hitler and the rest of the Nazi leadership. During a struggle, Both BJ and Mynx came in contact with the formula and gained unnatural strength as well as having their natural aging slowed. As a result, Mynx can definitely handle those guns, and anything else thrown at her, which is why the Vadrigar saw her as a perfect addition to the Arenas. Though they started out as opponents during WWII, in the Arenas BJ (now known mainly as just "Sarge") and Mynx formed a formidable team, both having honed their combat skills to perfection over untold decades, and after the different Generations split they became allies within the same faction due to mutual respect and admiration of each others' prowess if for no other reason.
