I'm a couple of weeks late, but I thought I'd bring it to everyone's attention. Quake III Arena was released on December 2, 1999!
To celebrate, Bethesda released a bunch of new art by John Mueller, who did the original Visor portrait. They're all formatted for widescreen desktops, so you could set up a nice slideshow wallpaper!
