I noticed your Doom levels look more like Quake 2 than Doom. It's kind of odd to be fighting in a version of Hangar that doesn't really look like Hangar.

There are hi-res replacements for the Doom textures (they are made from scratch, in case you wondered), at http://switch.to/doom2texturecs

Oh, yeah, could you make some hell levels while you're at it? Inferno was my favorite Doom episode.Slipgate - Smile

Like?  I'm trying to put my tongue back in!  Some of the Nazi textures could be better, but overall?

You put an extra c in there ^_~

Doomsday looks amazing, I don't like the models but the overall graphics are mindblowing, 200megs(textures) + 300megs(music) + 2 meg (binaries). Big program though Slipgate - Distraught

I might use some of these to put together my next map (since everyone seemed to have hated the fact my last one was egyptian, even if i thought it worked Slipgate - Grin), although I have yet to figure out what I should do, most likely over the christmas holiday assuming I'm not too busy

I'd also like to point out Doom is rather tacky and over the top, its really hard to replicate that manner of tacky in Quake 3

Hated that it's Egyptian?  I loved it!  I'd like to include it in our next map pack if you don't mind.  I'm quite partial to Egyptian themed anything, and I love that map!  B)

I liked it too, and it's one HELL of a fun map to play in Hunt.

It'd be even better in Resurgence Slipgate - Wink

I enjoy it, I have heard critiques of it not being Doomish enough.
I play it in hunt also, it is insane. The most ackward thing I've realized is that in both Generations and Hunt the bots play considerably better than in Vannila Quake.
Feel free to include it in the map pack, it was a pleasure making it, especially if people play it. The map is also up at the bad place if anyone is interested that hasn't played it [Insert Random Pimpage]

I still have yet to find another map that plays so well as to want to remake it, but I started playing Doom (Thanks largely im part to doomsday) again so I might find something

Here are some screens showing off the new lighting effects and hires textures in jDooM.

Also, how hard would it be to add the particle effect to the BFG in Q3A? I think it looks pretty damn nifty.
