I'd have to say that for me, it's a tie between Gauntlet and Tetris. However, next would definitely be Contra.

Dragon Warrior IV . not just the best NES game but also the largest NES cartridge every made. (i just mean the amount of data on the cart not the actual size of the cartridge)

I'd have to stick a tie between Zelda, Mario2, Fester's Quest, Contra, Xexyz, and Guardian Legend.. All incredibly awesome games imho.

Anyway..I despised mario2. The music was annoying, and the game frustratingly hard.

Go ahead. Dunno how many replies you'd get though. Most of us started on the NES. There's a few older than that, but most of us remember our NES as the first Slipgate - Wink

Don't know if anyone's played this one, but Journey to Silius.  Such a sweet game.

Oh, and StarTropics!!!  Long live StarTropics, a series they shoulda kept making sequels for.
