I wrote a very nice piece on human rights in the world's other super-power Russia, if anyone would like a read they can find it here.

http://www.livejournal.com/users/devlar/27794.html

I'd paste it but its pretty long and I can't keep the footnotes in the right place here

AHAHAH, I don't know what to say to that, except I'm not a marxist those guys are too authoritarian for me, although this piece is a political economy piece so it can be associated with marx

I hope you enjoy it Slipgate - Grin

Poor Russia. They just cant catch a break. First they have to live as surfs under tyrant Czars then they have to deal with Soviet  stalinist opression and now they live under the fist of the mob.

Its not really a mob though, it was people who were young communists in the 80s who only joined the Communist Party to acquire wealth, and when the wall collapsed they used their influence to get everything
