SEATTLE, June 30 (UPI) -- A University of Washington study warns that even a single strong drink can make a person "blind drunk" and impair the drinker's driving abilities.

Something to consider if you think you're "ok" to drive after "just a drink or two".  I hope some of you find this to be a sobering piece of information.

Root beer does not contain alcohol, unless it's a "special" root beer.  Sarsaparilla is really the proper term, but I doubt that they make the modern manufactured stuff from sarsaparilla root anymore (I'm sure there's a few exceptions).  Besides, I think only imaginary people would get hurt from someone driving an imaginary car, unless they're doing that at the same time they're operating a real car or some other kind of heavy machinery.  Slipgate - Distraught

Personally I'm not sure about one drink making you blind drunk, it's all down to how well an individual can handle drink, but as far as I'm concerned anyone who drinks and drives is asking for it.

It's all about knowing your limit.

Having three beers in the course of 4 hours is fine.

Having three beers in the course of 15 minutes, not only are you stupid, but you are a goddamned baffoon if you think you can drive.

I don't drive if I have a heater, but a couple beers usually doesn't get me red in the cheeks.
