Nevermind.. delete the post. I found a 'Thanks Tabun' message that I didn't see before, so I assume the guy asked?

Anyway.. was about Generations models I stumbled across in an updated model and texture pack for Q2.

Website here just in case:

Ehr. Well, I don't know anything about that. I recall giving permission to use my textures to a lot of people, but ofcourse I'd never give them permission to use the Generations models... I'll go and see what is in there.

They've taken, as far as I can see:
- invulnerability model/skin
- one of our grenade models (Slipgate)
- Stimpack, Medium health, Large health
- Yellow armor, Red armor
- Various ammo packs

Edit: Apparently I did give permission. Way to go, memory!

I remember this from a while back.  A fellow contacted me, and I forwarded the request on to Tabun.  We gave permissions on the static item models and projectiles, such as ammo pickups, health packs, etc, with some fairly strict conditions.  I think this was the single time we gave an exception and allowed some models to be used, primarily because the models are already in Gen in a fully completed state.  I still have the emails, dated Sept 20 2008.  This fellow is OK on this one.  Doom - Thumbs Up!

Ah. I guess I forgot about that? Weird. Anyway, though I'm not happy about the normal-map bollocks and odd texture manipulation (70% of a texture = big white nothingness?).. I guess it's ok.
