It says "Menu file not found: ui/hud1.txt, using default" after trying to load up a map. Doom - Huh?

Please help. I really wanna play this mod.

Do you have .99c?  If not, you can get it here.

Do you have the latest Quake III Patch, version 1.32?
Available here.

If that's not the issue, I'd recommend uninstalling it, then reinstalling it.

I need some more info:

What version of q3 are you running?
What version of Generations are you running?
What kind of hardware do you have?
What  is your com_hunkmegs set to?

This is an error that I haven't seen since 99a, when it was fairly common. Back then, the fix was to delete the gen directory and re-install generations. Failing that, re-installing Q3 did the trick as well.

But, like I said, I need the info above. I wouldn't recommend doing the whole re-install thing until we can look at it some more.
