Thought I'd post a screenshot of what progress I've made so far.

Still looking through existing texture sets to pick out a good set to work with, so that shot's using the stock VQ3 Gothic textures for the castle walls, which simply don't mesh well with any floor I've found. And no, no sky at all yet, so the outside is darker than it normally would be.

I _do_ like the hellish-lit window though. That happened mostly by accident, but added a nice touch of colour to the outside of the tower.

And no, I haven't done anything towards the keep itself.  I think I'll have this done in about 3 weeks, unless work suddenly skyrockets through the roof, in which case I'll warn folks here promptly. :-)

Wolfwings: If I could suggest that you register and start posting in the Laced Neptune sub-forum, I guarantee you'll get a better response and more people will see what you're doing.
