GenArena is already home to the best deathmatch in the world, and it boasts a great capture the flag mode as well, thanks to our GenArena CTFMappack #1. Who could ask for more?

Looks like lots of people, apparently. Is the chaos of GenDM too much for you? CTF not your thing? Do you yearn for the days of old-school fragging action?

You came to the right place. Starting tonight, WireHead Studios will be hosting what we affectionately dub our 'custom' games. We'll use our Genflags and DMflags to create mini-gametypes such as Q1DM, Q2CTF, Doom CTF, Fully-loaded Insanity, and more!

In addition, you get to decide which gametype we run! The poll on the main page rotates, so if you don't see the custom game poll, just refresh a few times, it'll pop up.

Tonight's Custom Games

Euro 'Custom' Game
Gametype: QWCTF (featuring GenArena CTF mappack #1)
Time: 9pm CET
Server: GenArena Custom Europe[WHS] .99d | 81.18.162.37:27960

North American 'Custom' Game
Gametype: Quake1 DM (featuring only quake1map remakes and remixes)
Time: 9pm EST
Server: GenArena Central[WHS] .99d  | 69.93.136.70:27960

What do you need to play?
Head on over to the downloads page and snag the following.

-GenArena 0.99c Full install (170mb, includes mappacks #1 and #2)
-GenArena 0.99d Upgrade (5mb)
-Mappack #3 (50mb)
-CTF Mappack #1 (74mb)
