I read the news page again, and I like the bit with the plasma gun colour options... could you do the same for the strogg railgun? I'd like the classic Q2 'white and dirty aquamarine' trail, but the custom colours would be fun too!

I suppose it'll have to go into v1.0 now Slipgate - Shifty

I think he means can we set it to turn custom railgun colors off.  I suppose it's possible to put a cvar in for that later, but we don't have one for it right now.  You do get that classic blue-white spiral if you're on the blue team in a team deathmatch though!

Mind, I'd like (eventually) to see an option for the specific steelblue colour that Quake2 featured for the rail effect. white + 100% saturated blue just doesn't cut it ;]
But then again, the 'particle' effect in the spiral could do with a do-over anyway, so that's all 1.0 stuff, right?
