atos] dev/nul if you can stand the price you could switch to windows server 2k3. It'srun great for me and doesn't have the Fisher Price interface that xp has (yes an end to the dam wizzards). It is a server os but most of that stuff can be turned off or just not installed. it runs games great and even runs some old dos games that win2k won't.
I can't stand such prices, but somehow I always find a way to "afford" programs that cost several hundred dollars ;P
Turning the messenger services off is pretty simple though, so when you take that into account, it doesn't really become too much of a problem.
