Due to a few issues in the current build of GenArena, we've decided to delay today's winning custom gametype for a few weeks until version 0.99e is out. See this forum thread for details.

Since our Class Wars have been delayed, the game defaults to the runner up: Fully Loaded.

In fully loaded, everyone spawns with 100 health, 100 armor, and full ammo for every weapon. Typical DM strategies go right out the window; BFGs are everywhere, everyone's tanked to start with, and item running is no longer necessary. Don't expect to live long, because you wont.

However, the Arena class will be disabled, in an attempt to give at  least some balance to the game. You can hide from the other BFGs. You can't from the spamcannon.

Fans of mods like Excessive and Weapons of Destruction will feel right at home.

Do I have to show up fully-loaded?

I must say these were the worst custom games so far, for me. I'm not a big fan of spawning with a full load in the first place, but it just doesn't work in Gen. No arena helped a bit.. but it took me 5 mins to figure out that skinning was more important, and more fun to do ;]
