Maybe new skins for the old bots. I recommend you try Warmachine or Colonel Killmore. Warmachine uses the red TankJr model and skin and is supposed to emulate the Tanks in Quake2, lumbering in slowly as they do and firing its weapon at whatever comes into view. If I remeber right, it uses the machinegun, rocketpipe, lightning gun, and railgun so it emulates the weapons the Tanks had. Colonel Killmore uses army weapons like the machinegun, grenades, rockets, and the railgun. His quotes are modeled after sayings used by Robert Duvall as Colonel Bill Kilgore in Appocalypse Now. "I love the smell O' napalm in the mornin'......."

Oh, offtopic for a bit, is there any console command in Q3 to randomly add a bot instead of simply typing in a name?

/bot_minplayers X

This makes sure there are always X 'players' in the game. You count towards that number, so if you want five bots, set bot_minplayers to 6.

Thanks alot, that  worked great.


Another question about the bots, if you are going to create monsters from the quake, doom and wolf games, will you make modified skins for the players to play as say, an imp or nazi?
