I do know that the team models for TA work vastly differently, but do you have any plans to include Fritzkrieg and Pi somehow FOR THOSE WHO ALREADY HAVE TA? I mean, you can include the TA maps, why not include  those models? By that, I mean add animations and classes (animation2.cfg's) for them.

It's the same as the Resurgence principle: All you're doing is adding a .cfg file and extra animations to an already-existing model.

I see Fritzkrieg as Earth and Pi as Strogg.

Well i think that whould not be any problem.. However you'll have to own team arena i doubt including those models in gen whould be leagal.

Just a small thing.. Gen is for quake 3 not team arena. Slipgate - Wink

Read CAREFULLY. I just want animations and class definitions, not inclusion into the mod. After all, mpterra1 is TA, but you can still play it in Gen.

Well, for Fritzkrieg I'd have to edit the md3 for the extra tag so he could hold two gats, etc, but I don't think this is a problem seeing that the new upper.md3 and head.md3 for Doom were not a problem, and those are 100% useless outside of Quake 3 anyway.  BTW, does he even have two hands?

Yeah, for upper_1 and upper_2 I had to add the neck in for when people use the skins without the helmet.  If someone has r_lodbias set high, like 1 or 2, you'd see his head detached from the torso otherwise.

Once we're done with the weapon skins and I'm full on into animating player models we'll show some love for Fritzkrieg and Pi.  Fritz will obviously be an Earth Soldier.  The question is, what should Pi be?

I stand by her being a Strogg (though she resembles Borg more than anything). Maybe she could be interpreted as a bald Iron Maiden?
