The old classic side scrolling shooter is now freeware! I loved this game when it came out, it is just fun. It runs under DOS, so if you run 2000 or XP, you should get DOSbox a great DOS emulator.

I absolutely loved playing the demo on the PC Gamer CD. This is a smart move on behalf of what was once Apogee. (Come on, Keen...) Hope more companies will follow suit.

Interestingly, I found this out not on most game sites, but Home of the Underdogs.

if you type in commander keen , 1 of the first sites you come across you wil be able to download all the keens Slipgate - Smile

Just like StarGunner, you'll need DOSBox to run this, but the sequel runs under Windoze.
