I didn't come back for Gen, so let's let that be known right away. at least not yet anyway, there's a particular gametype that I'm going to wait for in Gen before we even get into that.
no, the reason I've dropped by is to announce that MMA is building a presence on irc.enterthegame.com / #clan_mma and I have made my first efforts to get some good wholesome nostalgic "explosive" gaming fun going.
for now we have a really AWESOME Rocket Arena 2 server, and Kain, Pho, myself, SiD, Oz, MourningStar and a few others have been dabbling with RA2 the past couple weeks, and we'd like to extend this invitation to you Gen gamers, because I know all you bastards have a copy of Q2, and if not, I can make sure you get it, with RA2
since Pho's availability is questionable due to his workload, Saturday's the only real for-sure game night for him, and that works for Kain and me too... so we're going to run our RA2 gaming night during and following the same time slot as the US FFA forum games for Gen, which I imagine are still 9 PM ET (-5 GMT). however, given that we became RA2 addicts again a couple nights ago, we were up til 5 AM playing.... so there's no telling what will happen.
help us out, and I'll try and *cough* get some Gen players for compensation. and if this works, I'd like to mess around with ZDaemon, Quake, other Quake 2 mods... the basis for this is that you can play the real games that inspired Gen
