My son BAT is going to el paso on wednesday.

This is a journey of several thousand miles.

anybody live down there? is is ok?

We all live in the UK, you see, and none of us have ever traveled westwards. ever.

any advice about what to see? or not see?

yep..El.paso texas.

anybody live there, or is it all dust, like in the Terminator film? (or am i thinking of Mexico?)

it's a big place, Texas. you don't really get any idea of the size of things, when you live on an island you could drive across in an afternoon.

BAT is now in Texas!

If anybody sees him, be sure not to lend him any money(joke)

If you read this BAT, I don't mean it. (if you don't, then I do mean it)

He is.... 21 years old. White. Pale. dresses mostly in black. Looks like me (at a gig my band did, he was helping me to set up the PA, and was mistaken for my brother - both of us dressed in black, both in leather jackets, big boots etc.) he hates being reminded of this incident)

regards to Joe and co. if you have time BAT, find out the price of an American Fender Telecaster, second hand, but in good condition (with hard case - I mean this, I really want one, if the price is right, Black or sunburst, or natural wood finish). I could wire the money. just don't want to pay import tax.

Anybody whose checked the birthday thread will now know that BAT is (or claims to be) alive and in El Paso. apparently they checked his shoes as he went on the plane. hope he'd changed his socks, and not just swopped them over again. that would be enough to drive a man insane....bat - try team speak.

BAT is now back from the USA, and asleep in Yorkshire. hes been to a lap dancing club, got a lot of Tshirts, and eaten some ribs.
