Literally.  So abolish it already.  It's a stupid idea.

Living in AZ, I've become spoiled by not having to adjust the time on my alarm clock.  Although it's confusing to everybody else who practices DST.  In fall, we're MST.  In spring, we're PST.  To make matters worse, parts of AZ observe Daylight Savings Time.  Indiana is the same way.

I always thought DST was dumb, seeing no real reason for it. Nice to see others joining the cause! Muahahahahahahaha. Slipgate - Thumbs up!

In my part of the world, it's called BST (British Summer Time) and the only purpose it serves is to provide broad daylight at 11PM. Pointless.

About sporking time someone figures it out, now maybe we won't have to dick around with every frigging clock in the house two times a year...

And yes I am just so lazy that I didn't adjust my clock for the last DST switch -P

four:  It's originally a Wall Street Journal article.  Fox just mirrored the content.  Link to original is here:  http://online.wsj.com/public/article/SB1...OLcfJA8x9Gw9ozbCz77MiLmtaE_20080327.html

Kain:  Indiana gave in a few years ago.  They're on DST now as well.

Ahh, well I never know.  Some forum members in the past have stated as much quite seriously.  I'm not partial to any news media myself, but I've come to learn that ones preferred news outlet is determined largely by their political slant.  Liberals or (self-described "progressives" if they do not like the term) favor the New York Times, CNN, MSNBC, etc, while Conservatives (or Neo-Cons as they're often called by their critics) tend to favor Fox, Drudge, and the Washington Times, etc.  I try to keep media bias in mind with anything I read as, to me, there's no such thing as unbiased media.
