At least Team Fortress made the list. It annoys me greatly when people talk about how TF got its start with TFC. I can rage about that for hours.

But yea.. also nice to Gen made it on there.

I believe the Akimbo blasters was the BraZen mod for Quake 2...and it did indeed rock. Wish they had it for Q3, or just do it with modern games. I think "ridiculous" FPS games have gone temporarily out of style in recent years...

Closest we got these days is Serious Sam. Shame it's not as popular as it should be.

I didn't really like TFC either, but I loved QWTF.. and I like TF2 well enough. Just annoys me that everyone remembers TFC, but forgets the original that started it all. All of the remake maps get touted as TFC remakes, when in actuality they're remakes of QWTF maps.. just probably based on the remakes that were done for TFC.. like Well(6) and 2Fort(5r). They're still QWTF maps, damnit! I want acknowledgment!

TF1, baby! Screw that 'TF1.5' garbage that came in the middle.

Indeed, but once TF started getting crappy I diverted to Weapons Factory for Q3. ...and then they added the Nurse class. W.I.E. Slipgate - Sad
