This question is for the Gen team...

Is is all right to put Generation's logo or words as a banner in the maps? Like, you've seen there are some Quake banners/flags that were in the game, right? So what I mean here, is that is it all right to replace those Quake banners with Gen banners, and even put in the Wirehead mascot as a banner in the maps? Or even better, add in a new banner/flag model which is Gen...

if you're talking about custom maps that were created, then it's fine w/ permission of the banner maker.

If you're referring to altering pre-built maps, then I believe that it's a big no-no.

what we can do, however, is edit the original q3a banners (the ones you all know from the original q3 maps). That way we could have gen-arena banners in those places that were originally q3a-ad spots ;]

imo, maps with Generations/WHS ads in them would 0wn if you could do it right =]

Maybe make a big power tower with a widescreen thin TV p1mping WHS and Gen with cool shaders and whatnot? o_O
