There's one called "Q2 Max", but I can't find a link for it, and one called "Quake II Evolved".  Here's the link to that one:

I use both, but I like Quake2Max a little bit better.  The only thing I don't care for about Quake2Max is that it has several features, but you're going to have to dig through your config file in order to find out what they are and enable them.  Other than that, it works great.

Also, I'm not sure if Q2 Evolved is compatible with regular Q2 servers, but I know Max is.

u can use q2e w/servers..i have. i like q2e more than max because it uses the q3 engine, and the models are coming alone very nicely..the problem is..its no where near complete
