Just something to warm you up for the next release - it's not only code that gets added!
If you were unhappy with the limited supply of skins, this should help too.

For earth:

No shots, but you'll be able to pick your favourite color, and play as something else then the boring green defaults for both grunt and doom!

That DeathKnight skin for Keel looks awesome!  I've always hated the Keel model, and you've managed to make it look great.  I'll be sure to whip up some bot routines for these bad guys prior to release as well!

We have some new scoreboards, too!  The FFA one now shows playerclass, and the Team board has been given a much needed make-over.  It now displays up to 15 players PER TEAM.  Take a look!

Here's a shot of the FFA Scoreboard.

Really looking foreward to this!

BTW is there any chance you could change the handicap from lowering you life to lowering the damage you do. A friend of mine has been trying to get people to play generations, but he and his railgun beats them resulting in them not wanting to play with either of us. So if you could do something that would mean that a railshot from strogg didn't kill you the first time, so they would get more of a chance, they might even start playing, at least against us at a Lan...

Thats actually not a bad idea IMO... instead of gimping health, Lower/raise all damages done by a percentage.... EG, a 75 handicap would lower all weapon damage 25%...

hmm... dont know if its feasable for coding though..

That's exactly what the handicap does - reduces health and damage by %.

It's fscking HARD to kill anyone with a handicap at 25 Slipgate - Tongue
