We don't usually post stuff like this on the main page, but it's serious enough that I felt everyone should get a look at it and the topic won't be as easily buried on the news page.  It appears that Java has a rather serious security hole in it that's been discovered.  Since Java is a cross-platform language this means EVERYONE needs to pay attention to it, even the Linux users out there.

That's the latest version of the Sun Java Run Time Environment, which according to the article contains the fix.

Oh-uh i've been off-line for  a while and didn't know of this ... Doom - Huh? which one of the down loads do I need?I've got plain old windows XP..if that helps...any advice would be very helpful Thumbs up!
