If you've not finished Portal this could be considered a huge spoiler, and if you have then you'll understand it. It's not off-topic as it's in regards to Gen's status. This is a Phoenix Song Break. Proceed at your own risk.
Well since you clicked the spoiler, this is in regards to the following:
1) Everyone who has ever asked me "Is Gen dead?" or "Is Wirehead dead?" etc. Yes mecha, I mean you.
2) This is a tribute to everyone who has ever participated in the project but went MIA, AWOL, or just flat given up. You know who you are and probably will never read this anyway.
Well then, here goes!
Still Alive
Someday we'll triumph.
Someday this mod will meet success.
On that day I'll have some satisfaction.
For Generations.
We do what we must with what we can.
We try not to raise a fuss
Except our team is half dead

* Kain-Xavier shows Kajet his neat gun. The problem is I work nights so I tend to miss the games. I also don't hang out in the IRC channel that much anymore since the people that idle there seemingly never talk. :p |

I'm still kickn. Although WoW has sucked most the life out of me heh.
When I'm not there I'm checking the servers but never see anyone. Hey, is one of the servers still down? Can't remember off hand which it was.

Central is currently offline. Warden was moving servers and said that Quake servers would be the last thing to get moved. I have no idea how many accounts he's moving over or how long it will take. In the mean time, I'm hosting a .99f server myself, and Euro is up still. I always leave a couple of bots running around on mine. Check the Euro server Saturdays around 4-6 Eastern, and my server 9-11 Eastern. I haven't been able to play the last two weeks, but I might try to make it this weekend.
Also, remember that the Wirehead IRC Channel is a great place to get together and organize matches, especially at the indicated times. If nobody's talking, speak up and indicate you want to play. If I'm around (not the idlebot - it just idles) I'm usually talking and up for a game.

I'm alive.. even though I've mostly just reverted back to my lurking days of old. No need to log in when all you do is lurk the forums and not reply to anything.
Work has eaten away my life, odd as it sounds.. and when I'm not working, I'm either sleeping or playing CoH/V or TF2.
